For the second consecutive year, SMU football radio has won the TAB's Texas Broadcast News Award for the best sports play-by-play/broadcast.

They've been through the thick and thin with the team. They have the pulse of the fan base, too.

Congratulations. Listen to you guys more than most as I'm often in a car instead of infant of a TV. Also, being an old radio man (Yes, I have a BFA in Broadcast Film and started in radio) I love a good play by play and color man.

As good as they are, tough to compete with that Mississippi State guy we used to listen to.

Jones to Smith and it's a Mississippi touchdown. And the presentation was what made it so memorable. Gosh I miss those late night drive home with Miss. State football on the radio.
