Posted: Sun Apr 25, 2004 8:46 pmFaculties always complain about the expense of college athletics. The result will be a push to get more contributions from the booster club. With Rice going into C-USA, the tactic will likely raise money and quiet the faculty. The age old answer is "if Stanford can do it, so can any other academically respectable private school."
