I am happy for Texas State Bobcats and as pleased for the PAC12, especially Oregon State Beavers and Washington State Cougars. They got the shaft went most of the original PAC-12 schools bolted for the Big Ten and BigXII.

PAC12 won't be a Power5 conference but will be among the strongest in the Group of Six. Based on last year, Boise State made the CFP and this new conference will be competitive with the American Athletic Conference (think Memphis and Tulane for example) for a guaranteed spot. The PAC12 might actually be a better conference top-to-bottom that the AAC.

Along with the new media deal with CBS, the new PAC-12 founders, OSU and WSU, deserve some credit for creating lemonade from this mess.

Good luck to TSU and their new conference mates.
