1989 Cowboys should have been higher. They were nothing short of comical.

Yeah, well the 'Boys got screwed in the 25 best teams as well. The '93 Cowboys were better than the '92 team. The '94 team was better than the '94 49ers (who were listed, but only beat the Cowboys on a series of fluke plays in the 1st quarter and a pathetic no-call on Deion's interference on a ball to Irvin).

Well, that Maverick team was pretty pathetic. I remember following it when I was college. That team was perilously close to breaking the 76'ers record for futility. They ended up winning their last 2 games against Minnesota and Houston to get to 11 wins. The only guy on that team that was worth anything was Derek Harper. That was the year Donald Carter decided to be a knucklehead and not pay Jim Jackson market value and missed 50 games. Not sure that it would have made that much of a difference but other than him, I don't think anyone else had an NBA career worth mentioning. They were so bad, I don't think they'd have been competitive in the CBA.

We didn't make the list because they figured everybody would think it was some high school or Division III team when they saw the highlights with our godawful uniforms.
