New article on the home page. Our CB's are short, but it sounds like their toughness and athletic abilities may make up for it.

Nice article, and once again kudos to our fantastic webmasters. These guys can never get enough credit, in my opinion.

Ditto on the kudos for the webmasters! The DMN should be ashamed of itself for not covering the
ONLY DIV. 1-A SCHOOL IN DALLAS with classy, in-depth stories like
www.ponyfans.com provides!

Methinks the webmasters are fans of bassfishing legend Hank Parker. On his shows, he used to always call his 6-year-old son "L.B.M....Little Big Man."

Fantastic story! Cool pictures, too. Unless Coach Patterson is 6'8", that bottom picture really shows how much Akinyemi has to overcome, height-wise. Keep up the great work.

And then there was Dustin Hoffman...

Sounds like Akinyemi (this guy NEEDS a nickname) has the potential to be one hell of a player.
Great story, guys.

Somehow I just have a gut feeling the WebGuys aren't the types who would fish, let alone guys who would WATCH fishing. Just a hunch.

Awesome story, fellas. If any PonyFans haven't read it, I highly recommend it.
This guy should soften the blow of losing Jonas Rutledge to the NFL. I like his strength and toughness even more than his speed.

Maybe the best feature on this site since the Brad Bean story. A must-read!

I can't wait to watch the guy play. We all want to see interceptions, passes knocked down, etc., but I think it will be kind of uplifting for the team when Akinyemi plants a big WR or RB. CBs are small this year, but fast, fast, fast! Secondary should be better this year, despite the loss of Rutledge (and Moodley).

I tell everyone I know about this site, because of stories like this one that aren't available anywhere else.

Great story, guys.
I agree on the need for a nickname. Charles sounds like a finance student, not a shutdown CB.
