While watching the Democratic National Convention tonight and hearing VP nominee John Edwards' speech, the chant of "Hope Is On The Way" started echoing through the convention hall. Hmmmm...kind of reminds me of a certain football team at a Div. 1-A school in Dallas!

I thought the same thing.
And in the case of SMU, I believe it. I really do. I'm as critical as anyone when things are bad, but for some reason, I believe the corner will be turned this year.

With a man comes a thought
With thought comes change
With change comes progress in the mans thought

Bennett has a plan and his path is forming.

If the plan is brought to completion
Completion is winning.

NOW, Faculty Senate - Come along, join us on the path. You will thank yourself later! :P

How about \"never again\"?

The SMU slogan should be more like "never again." Another 0-12 seaosn and we can shut down for good.

Edwards' other slogan is that there are two Americas. In college FB, there are two Division 1As, BCS and all others.

Winning the "all others" division is a start. BCS didn't create our problems but long term solutions are more challenging with this two class warfare.
