Arlington Bowie Defensive back Dominique Criss, No. 57 on SportsDay's Area Top 100, said he is considering gray-shirting so he can play at Texas. Criss would sign with Texas and sit out next fall, enroll in the spring then count toward the Class of 2007. If Texas drops out of the picture, the favorite is Minnesota, with UT-El Paso, Baylor, SMU and TCU still in the running. Criss' father, Anthony, Bowie's head coach, said SMU and Baylor are doing a good job of recruiting.

Criss is a 3 star recruit who has been offered by all kinds of out of state BCS schools but apparently decided a few months ago to refocus on schools closer to home.
