It'd be a miracle if that commit stuck for 2 seasons. This is hardly a loss...now on to offer people who can actually play college ball within the next 450 days.

Something that sticks out here that has been largely missing before: we are on the radar for kids like this, and there is a legitimate choice that includes SMU in the picture...I remember YEARS ago a kid from SOC in Dallas (Egypt Allen, I believe) that chose the frogs over SMU, and thinking that it was good to be in the hunt for any and ALL decent recruits.
