unfortunately the D 1 recruits are taken at smu.. Reid Prince (RT T and three starter) is goin to baylor, Craig Olsen (huge left T and two yr starter) is off to tech.. then stafford is off to UGA next month..

I really wish we would have gotten Olsen, i am really hoping they do well in the cotton bowl and then some bigger recruits decide they want to go there, b/c i am pretty sure that smu is definately a back up for him..

Yes i know that sounds crappy of me to say "i hope they get bigger recruits, but hey as of now he is not coming here and recruitng is a $%#^ty business and that stuff happens and if we can benefit from it.. i don't feel so bad..

I worked w/ the hp kids this summer in their summer workouts and he is great kid and really hard worker.. i talked to him as much as i could about smu, but surprise he got a chance to play big 12 ball and he took it

or hey say it doesn't work out 2 years from now-it would be nice if SMU could get this kid in to school then like everyone we play against.
