You'd have to think that we have the inside track on the guy who lists only CU and SMU, unless Hawkins wows him right off the bat.

McCann lists us first, Hornback has a lot of size I hope we could get him.

Don't sell Hawkins short -- he's a very bright, very charismatic guy. He got kids to go to Boise, Idaho, after all (a nice enough city, but not exactly a draw to recruits, in and of itself.) If he can come in to Boulder and show his track record at Boise State, coupled with the natural excitement of a new coach and the idea that "we're going to do things right," he just might draw a strong class to Colorado. Wouldn't surprise me if he stole some Boise State commitments, too.

McCann is supposed to be terrific, and Hornback's size (I know nothing more about him) certainly is impressive.

I thought Dadeaux was being recruited more as a defensive end, not a tight end .... true/false?

(Then again, if he's that good a player, get him on campus, THEN worry about his position....)

However, CU is in the Big XII which is automatically a benefit to Colorado and remember, Colorado uses hookers (oops that was the prior regime).

The Big 12 factor certainly can't be overlooked.

Wasn't McCann quoted somewhere saying he wanted to decide/get it over with quickly?
