No, you are right, this is an SMU Board. SMU has zero commitments on the All Area team. Feel better now.

Don't feel any different than I did before, but thank you for your concern.

Burke and Novak? Good players, but not worth crying over.

I don't think we offered EITHER of these guys, so your point would be?

I don't think SMU offered either one and was only mildly interested in the two anyway.

The point is that these two are on the All Area team. That is all. Just a fact. Just one post regarding the recruiting of the new coach. My only point. Good God!!!!

I think we all need to pay attention when Rice steals 2 from our backyard.

Was cleaning out the house. On Sunday, I took an old table that we didn't use anymore and set it on the curb for the bulk trash pickup. 45 minutes later, a couple of guys drove up in a pickup, looked at the table and put it in their truck. It was my table in my yard, but I was not too concerned when they took it. Why? Because I didn't want it anyway.

At the end of the day, Rice will still have a recruiting class. Some of those guys will be from North of Centerville. When kids with offers from SMU start turning them down and going to Rice, then you should be concerned.

Relax.

I'm Sorry- Your comparing a table being thrown away to 2 DMN all area football players that come from the richest recruiting area in the country.

I was told to relax a day before the JUCO signings and we ended up with only 2 coming of our best season in 9 years. Some of us have been around since the DP and we are not getting any younger. Bennett is doing a great job but we still need help. I still have vivid memories of being embarrassed by Tulane.

I assume you had a better table that you use in its place?
