Interesting time to announce a contract extension. Wonder if this is a recruiting factor?

They should have had a big news conference announcing an extension after he went and interviewed for K-State.

But, I am glad he got one.

Does anyone know the numbers from his extension? Like how many years and how much money?

DMN reports one year extension (through 2009) and salary increase from $450,000 to $500,000. It also reports several assistants got rasies as well.
