Coach Doherty and his staff and a few players were at SMU's Convocation yesterday. There was some really tall guy I didn't recognize from last year's roster out there, but he didn't look like the pictures of this kid that I've seen. And there's no reason I can think of that a recruit would be dragged to Convocation (or the pre-C festivities outside) -- it was (BREAKING NEWS!) unbearably hot, and I can't imagine that would be the way to sell a kid on the idea of coming to Dallas for the next four or five years.
