PF Adam Pegg 6-8, 235

SMU is apparently aggressively recruiting this kid from Palm Harbour Florida. Pegg says SMU hasn't offered yet. Looks like a big stong inside muscle kid. He did score 28 and 18 in his first two exhibition games. Offers by Big East's USF, and Tennessee Tech and Wofford. Ole Miss may be involved too. He did get a good write-up after a Rivals Orlando camp about a month ago.

Am I right that we have two scholarships left? I'm totally in favor of Coach Doherty's idea of not signing a guy JUST to sign a guy, but if a real player is there ....

This guy sounds impressive -- what would the addition of Pegg and Katuka do to our class's ranking?
