TCU, SMU keeping area recruits home

A sincere question. Obviously I would prefer to be in TCUs position on the above list. But once you get above the top 30 who are probably state top 100 players too, how different is the #45 player from the #75 player in the DFW area top 100? Assuming of course they play the same position.

Are we talking all-conference versus role player/special teams contributor? Or is the talent gap a whole lot smaller once you reach the area list?
