Apathy: win lose or draw

Postby SWC2010 » Thu Feb 08, 2007 12:18 am

How pathetic... Signing day & everyone is asleep... Just checked the BU fans site, lists 200+ viewing the site. Win lose or draw, apathy is rampant @ smu... And no sh&t about waiting for a winner-- BU sux & they still support 'em.

Un f*ckin believble...

I'm definitely interested myself. I just don't know enough about these prospects to comment on them at this point. Will be going to the recruiting roundup in Houston Thursday though.

How on God's green earth does the amount of people on ponyfans.com correlate to the apathy of the university's fans? Are you stupid?

Some of us were asleep because we 1) worked all day, 2) went to the recruiting party, 3) went to the basketball game and then came home and watched PB's press conference on All Access. There was just only so much Pony obsessing I could do in one day. :D

I agree that this is a ridiculous comment. I checked in at least 10 times during the day and always has many new posts to read. Where were you all day?

Maybe Miami had 1600 people on their site is because in Florida inmates are allowed access to the internet and it's the alums seeing how well "the U" did on signing day(?)

Same here. I kept checking back in about every 15 minutes. Had to do some work and then check it. Maybe the Miami fans don't have a job and can just stay online all day.

why are so many in denial regarding the general apathy towards SMU athletics? Been to one of our games lately?? I know it's preaching to the choir because the folks on this board DO care and support the program, but this post was all about the FACT that there aren't very many of us - compared to even Baylor

Baylor fans are at least excited about their prospects of moving out of the Big XII cellar - hoping it will happen during their lifetimes?

as someone that goes to a lot of these sites I bet the traffic on BaylorFans and the Frog Forum is about 3 times the traffic on this board. I think it is a reflection of general apathy.
