8 plus another not listed. Ironic. Doherty and Bennett relied heavily on JUCOs during their previous stop. Why do we hire Coaches who don't practice what we preach?

Fulce from Plano now plays @ Tyler JC.
He is having a great year.
Was interested in playing for SMU, signed with Marquette.

Saw where he had 17 boards in one game & 25 points in another.

A perfect example of someone who could contribute immediately & is from a local school.

In addition to great HS basketball, Texas also has some of the best JC basketball in the country.

The pipeline is already built for immediate success. Successful programs in Collin County (great coach), Grayson County (Denny Crum's asst coach is HC) Hill, McLennan, Ranger, Cisco. All within 150 miles of Dallas.

If Doh can't build DISD relationships, certainly he can with the outstanding JC programs in the state.

Obviously things need to change. Bad policy. Stallion is right on the money when he talks about recruiting/jc's.

JC's are really getting more & more into the international players.
Weatherford JC has a couple of really good players from Russia.
One scored 35 pts in a game this year & only missed 1 shot. I think he leads the country in shooting %.

Its not all about bad grades as some feel. Alot of major college transfers, international players & just some that fell through the cracks.

A couple of solid jc recruits could provide an immediate turn around for a program. OU signs Orlando Allen @ Paris JC. 6'11" center will be a force in the middle next yr.

For example, if SMU had signed him & Roderick Flemings (Weatherford JC, DeSoto, OKla State transfer, of Fulce) for next years team the outlook would be totally different.
