very innovative. The Airline is getting a lot of good publicity-I guess the major problem might be-where does Hawaiin Airlines fly on the mainland.

Hawaiian Air will give free round trip flights to ..........
......... Coach McMackin and staff to all of their recruiting destinations.
This was announced at the basketball game tonight.

Seattle, San Jose, Sacramento, LA, Las Vegas, San Diego, Portland, San Fran, to name several. Perhaps just as importantly, Hawaiian goes to Samoa...I remember JJ saying it would've been nice to be able to make the long flight to Samoa & Tonga to recruit a kid.

Hawaiian codeshares w/ AA too.

Assuming this is all legal (I would assume you can't fly recruits on some big-bucks alum's personal jet with extra ameneties - surely there's a "commercial flights only" rule), my question is: why is it that UH officials didn't arrange this years ago?

There is still the problem of it taking 5 hours to get to the mainland.
