Well Marshall is still Taking Non-Qualifiers

This is a kid who is having trouble making the grade even after a year of prep school at Fork Union. Good recruit rated 5.6

"He went on to tell me that if I come up short, I do have options at Marshall. We talked about coming in as a prop. I would have to pay my own way for the first year and earn my eligibility. I don't think it will come to that but it is good to have options."

Is this why Phil turned down the Marshall job?

He doesn’t believe in taking in Non-Qualifiers…
