If he gets down into the 4.3 or 4.4 range, let's offer him a scholarship right now. Especially to keep him out of Fort Worth.

And where's Wimberley?

Hope he is not really looking too hard at being able to play football AND baseball. If he is, then t c and u has a distinct advantage over us. Hopefully he will see the light and realize SMU is where he belongs.

We'll keep the updates coming.

As for the location of Wimberley, it's about 40 minutes SW of Austin in the Hill Country just about 20 minutes west of San Marcos. They happen to be stacked for this fall with three players on our list alone. They should be challenging for a 3A title in 2001.
