Baker (6-3, 200, 4.5) is an outstanding LB prospect. He recently added SMU to the list of schools that he's considering, a list that also has Florida State, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA and Vanderbilt.

Word is he was supposed to be at the San Jose State game.

Lewis Baker and Zach Hall would be a nice pair of local LBs for this coaching staff to bring in next year. As did Hall, Baker will have other options so let's just hope he is looking for a school close to home and a program that offers him a shot at playing time early in his collegiate career. Let's hope bennett can sell him on SMU because our lackluster attendance at the San Jose game certainly couldn't have impressed him.
