We start winning, and recruits will see reason for hope and start committing to SMU.

Consider: Lewisville HS has two of the best players in America in safety Tony Cade and linebacker DeMarrio Pleasant. They both were considering Oklahoma and Texas as their top two choices. The day after the Sooners administered their annual beating of Texas, both players committed to OU.

I'm not suggesting that we would get Cade or Pleasant with a few wins, but it sure makes a place more appealing.
