Local recruits earn invitation

Highland Park quarterback Bill Foran, HP offensive lineman Ryan Gray, Skyline QB Arnel Rolfe, Dallas Carter (and SMU commit) defensive end Desmond Jones, DeSoto defensive tackle Cedrci Cofer, Lake Highlands defensive back Stephen Hodge, Carrollton Creekview defensive tackle Brigham Rowe, Lewisville (Hebron) linebacker Lewis Baker and Corsicana linebacker Jeremy Castillo are among the players (and SMU recruits) who have been invited to play for the East team in the Coca-Cola High School Football All*Star Game at Birdville Stadium Jan. 25.

Among the players invited to play for the West are Colleyville Heritage (and SMU commit) offensive lineman Justin Boren, Arlington linebacker Nick Moore, Arlington Martin linebacker Chase Ellis, FW Dunbar running back Michael Turner, FW Dunbar tight end Marcus Martin, Grapevine offensive lineman Stephen Botts and RIchland offensive lineman Brandon Tittle.

Each of these guys has had his name mentioned in connection with recuiting by SMU. Jones and Boren already have committed. Others are sure to follow!
