Does anyone know the status on Sugarland (Dulles) OL Toby Kaiyewu (6'4", 320)? The Morning News listed him at #99 in the state, and says his choices are Cal, Colorado, Stanford, LSU, SMU and Baylor. Insiders says he has offers from UTEP, Stanford, Colorado, Northwestern, LSU, Iowa State, SMU, Cal, Arkansas, Texas A&M and Baylor.

Anyone hear anything new on him? If we could bring him into the fold, I'll be really happy with our new crop of linemen.

Quote from Rivals story about him: "Don’t expect Kaiyewu to be making up his mind anytime soon."

From Tobi himself: “There’s still a long time to go,” Kaiyewu said of the recruiting process. “I’m just soaking all of it in, and I’m going to take all my visits before I decide.” He still hasn't scheduled visits yet.

Rivals says he's only recieved offers from Baylor, Cal, Colorado, LSU, Stanford, and SMU and is considering them all. Most of the schools are recruiting him as an OG.

Hope that helps.

Also wanted to add the stats:

height 6-foot-4
weight 320 pounds
40-yard dash 5.5 seconds
bench max 315 pounds
squat max 460 pounds
GPA 2.8

Sounds to me like he should drop 30 or 40 pounds. He's a big guy, and I'm sure he's talented, but 5.5 in the 40? Doesn't sound like Bennett's kind of guy, at least at that speed.
