Remaining Scholarships

Postby Corso » Thu Jan 09, 2003 6:57 pm

We have 18 guys, right? Which means we have .... 6 or 7 left?

I'll take all of the guys coming in this weekend (QB/Ath Joel Armstrong, WR John Scroggins, OL Kharylake Martin, LB Avery Cleveland, S/Ath Joe Sturdivant) .... and one "mystery candidate" that we haven't yet seen on this board.

OOps - good call. forgot those guys.
Gimme Simmons and Turner, too. (OK, we'll have to stretch the scholarship limit!)
Do you know anything about Zeigler? I can't find anything on him.

And while we're at it, throw Chase Ellis in there, too! Could use a big, fast LB.

Hey Corso, don't you want to go for 30 and steal Darius Ingram back from LSU?

OK, seriously. How about:

Avery Cleveland
Darius Ingram
Chase Ellis
Rashard Turner
Ronald Simmons
Joe Sturdivant
Dominique Ziegler?

Although it does kind of hurt to bypass someone as big and strong as Kharylake Martin!

Give me Turner, Martin, Sturdivant and Corso's "mystery recruit" and I'm done. Happy as a clam. Completely ecstatic.

By the way, kudos to you on that Corso. You ARE the Puppet Master!!

If he signs, I owe you your choice of adult beverages.

Yeah, right...

Now if you were smart, you'd claim credit for the signing and cash in on a beer. Too bad.
