Why has no one mentioned our best safety prospect? According to Rivals, they're pretty sure he committed to us over the w/e as well. This is one of the better players in Georgia...I'm sure Stallion can rave about him a little for you. Great pickup with Avery Cleveland as well! 2 more 3 star recruits!

Poor Georgia Tech we are eating their lunch-we have got commitments from Massey, Sturdivant and Cleveland who were all offered by Georgia Tech and were finalist for each player. Not bad.

my favorite story among several about this kid is that the DAY AFTER his father died in November he had 150 yards Total offense, 4 TDs, 13 tackles and an INT playing in honor of his father. He had at least 6 INTs by November(they subsequently played several more playoffs in route to a 15-0 State championship). This story is about as heartwarming as it gets and even beats out the fact that he has about 5 state champioship rings in FB and Baseball and hasn't lost a FB game since 8th grade. He's a special kid who plays all over the field RB, WR, KR, and DB.

Sturdivant sounds like a guy who could see the field EARLY in his career with SMU. It's not like safety was one of our strong points last year!
