SMU has No. 1 Non-BCS Class

Postby Stallion » Wed Jan 15, 2003 1:47 am

....the best class among WAC, CUSA, Sun Belt, Mid-American, MWC and non-BCS Independents. Quite an accomplishment in comparing schools(about 40) with similar resources.

Nobody is happier than me that we have the best non-BCS recruiting class. But I sincerely believe that SMU is the best non-BCS school in the country and that we should consistently be at the top of the non-BCS football world.

I don’t mean to take anything away from Coach Bennett, he has been superb. I just know how wonderful SMU is.

Thank you Coach Bennett!!

Couldn't have said it better myself, 35.
A few more Bennett classes and we'll rule the WAC - or whatever conference we're in at that point!
