Re: Neither Too High Nor Too Low....a Tom Rossley team never held a Baylor team under 450 yards total offense I guarantee that....and 3.5 yards per carry? Try more like 7 yards per carry.
"With a quarter of a tank of gas, we can get everything we need right here in DFW." -SMU Head Coach Chad Morris
When momentum starts rolling downhill in recruiting-WATCH OUT.
Re: Neither Too High Nor Too LowI might add that at that time Baylor was also beating Texas, A&M and Tech occasionally. Didn't they go to the Cotton Bowl in the mid 90's? Wasn't that the excuse given for the Big 12 swallowing hard and taking them over us, Rice and TCU?
UNC better keep that Ram away from Peruna
Re: Neither Too High Nor Too LowBaylor was taken into the BIg 12 because then Governor Ann Richards forced it. Lieutenant Governor Bob Bullock forced the Big 12 to take TT. The Big 8 was only interested in UT and A$M. The other 2 were politically motivated. UT wanted to go to the Pac 10 and A$M wanted to go to the SEC. The politicians wouldn't allow it.
Re: Neither Too High Nor Too LowBaylor beat Tulsa by 12, while Tulsa lost to WAC opponents by the following margins: La Tech 44, Boise 27, Hawaii 23, Rice 15, Fresno 19, San Jose 11 and SMU 3. Tulsa's lone WAC win was over UTEP. No big deal, I just wondered why you would put Baylor in the group of good teams. In my opinion there are many WAC teams that play better football than the Bears. That may change with Morris' arrival, though.
