Word is he's waiting on an announcement of an offensive line coach. Has anyone heard any names of OLcoach candidates?

That is something the staff needs to address QUICKLY. I've noticed a serious lack of urgency to fill the staff positions. Perhaps recruiting is in full swing and that's having an effect on looking for coaches. This is something I'm sure the staff is aware of and will address promptly.

....I bet they're already zeroed in on who they want but federal and school guidelines mandate that position be posted for a certain time period before it can be filled. Speculation includes Tim Nunez who has been the Line Coach at UT and a former colleque of Bennett years ago at A&M.

Stallion's right - the position needs to be posted as available for a certain period of time before the announcement can be made. But I agree, Coach Bennett probably already has his man.

I always thought having Dayton HS alum Randy Denman on the SMU roster would help. But as it turns out, Central Florida has a Dayton alum on its o-line, too, which I assume negates that perceived advantage. Grr...
