Nicknames

Postby PerunaPunch » Mon Jan 20, 2003 3:56 pm

I think all the new recruits need nicknames. To get the ball rolling, I'd like to suggest:

Justin Boren: IHOP

O.K., who's next?

Surely you didn't think I'd let this one pass without weighing in, did you?

So, without further ado:

From the home office, High on the Hilltop, the top 10 nicknames for the recruiting class of 2003:

10. Justin "IHOP" Boren
9. Bryan Turner "And Hooch"
8. Zach Hall "Of Fame"
7. Kennard "Big And" Burley
6. Ricky Joe Meeks "Shall Inherit The Earth"
5. "Sacrifice" Richuel Massey
4. Chris Phillips "Screwdriver" (I have no idea what that means)
3. Brandon "Junk" Bonds
2. Blake Warren "Peace"

And the #1 nickname in the class of 2003:

1. "Do you feel" Lucky DeLay

(And yes, Lucky is his given name, not a nickname)

(And credit for the first one, of course, goes to Peruna Punch)

How about Jaymond (or Avery) Cleveland "Rocks"?

OK, this one's kind of a layup, but....

The all-nickname team would have to be coached by Johnny Ringo Starr, right?
