With the addition of Wolcott, can you tell me where Rivals has this class ranked as well as the toads. Killerfrogs is saying they have a much better class than us??!! Thanks

Here's one way to look at it:

TCU Top Players (according to rivals)
3-stars
Will Oliver - #5 Center
James Battle - #8 Dual Threar QB
Marcus Draper - #19 (out of 20 ranked) FB
Wade Sisk - #73 OT
Marcus Brock - #75 WR
Larry Bradford - NR JUCO

2-star ranked players
Freddie Stoglin - #23 (out of 25) all purpose back

Everyone else 2-stars. They may have some late signings that I haven't seen or PQs and JUCOs as well.

SMUs ranked players
3-star
Rickey Joe Meeks - #27 Pro Style QB
Chris Phillips - #28 Dual Threat QB
Avery Cleveland - #31 OLB
Corey Muse - #39 OLB
Richuel Massey - #39 RB
Joe Sturdivant - #39 S
Zach Hall - #51 ILB
Justin Boren - #51 OT
Desmond Jones - #64 DT
Ervin McGee - #67 CB

Everyone else 2-stars.

They have a little more sizzle, but we certainly have more substance. Based on what I've seen so far, I'm very pleased with this class.

I'm sure Stallion can give more info on the final rankings.

I wouldn't pay much attention to the Rivals list. I haven't seen it today, but yesterday, it left off the vast majority of our verbals, most of whom had been verballed for quite a while. That being said, both SMU and TCU have very good recruiting classes. It'll be good to see the SMU/TCU game heat up more in the future. I, for one, would like to see a matchup of CUSA Champion TCU vs. WAC Champion SMU at the end of the upcoming season.

no Rivals has been extremely accurate while the Insiders has not. On the other hand there are parts of the West where the Insiders maybe more accurate. In Texas Rivals beats the Insiders easily.

DMN saids in this mornings paper that we ranked number 59 nationally and TCU ranked 61.

Hot damn...way to go coaches!!!
SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
