SMU is on a list of about a dozen schools working on Chamberlain Oguchi, a 6-5, 190-pound shooting guard from Richmond (George Bush), Texas. (Bush High School's basketball program is entering only its third year of existence. Oguchi also plays with the Houston Select program.)

In addition to SMU, he's being pursued by Kansas State, Nebraska, New Mexico, Cincinnati, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, St. John's, Texas and Rice.
