Senior day football camp

Coach Bennett indicated he expects almost 300 "campers" later this month for Sr. Day.

Also, feels very, very good about the recruiting so far and only wishes we had 25 ships to offer (instead of 12-14) Said response is extremely positive and we are being selective in our offers to date.

When is senior day? Any idea who some of the players are who will attend?

I'm sure that we are happy w/ the responses to our recruiting efforts, but what do you really expect him to say? Oh we're very disappointed and recruiting is sluggish. I mean don't get me wrong we have no reason to doubt our recruiting is going well but PC remarks like that don't mean a whole lot.

If we were a big state school we would have 25 ships to give away every year. That's the way they do it. They run off the guys they don't want and start every recruiting season with a fresh 25 to give. I'm not saying I want to do that but it is another way the rich stay rich.
