Tell us, have you visitted the SMU Campus? Tell us what appeals to you about SMU, I am very curious.

Personally, I think athletes are screwing up going elsewhere, especially Dallas-FW athletes, because more than likely they are going to come back and live in the metroplex after college, and an SMU degree is better here than KState or Iowa State, or some other non-sense.

Only 1% of college athletes have a shot at making it pro, and when you look at pro rosters, probably about 1/2 come from smaller schools anyway (sure, UMiami and some others have a large chunk here and there).

Going to a big state school doesn't guarantee ANYTHING. Take the year LaDanian Tomlinson was drafted...I think 7 players from TCU's team got drafted and 5 others signed contracts. Texas A&M had ONE drafted that year.

Now, where do you think their respectively ranked recruitings were 4 years earlier?

The AGGIES were significantly higher, but failed to produce and NFL athletes.

So, I hope you choose SMU, great stadium, great alumni connections, and the WOMEN are hot as ****!!!

and if you are good enough, you will be drafted regardless of where you play, period.
