How is your summer going? Spoke to Brett a couple days ago. He is out at TMS but I think you know that.
Are you in Dallas?

CPC is indeed in Dallas at this particular moment. Also ran into Brett recently at the Great American Shootout up in Denton, he was watching his various offspring playing with their summer league teams. Son #3 (CPC loses track of their names) looks like he will be a real prospect in 2 years.

The Great American Shootout was a bit of a dissapointment this year, as several of the high profile programs sent groups of younger players, but didnt send their elite groups. Most of the local players that SMU is pursuing are on Team Texas (including Collin Dennis and Paulius Packevicius) and their older group no-showed the GASO. Half the players on their older team were at the Nike camp, and the remainder apparently went to the Peach Jam in Georgia. Did see a few good prospects, though, and quite a few younger guys that CPC will be keeping an eyeball on in the future.

For fans who were friends with former SMU ticket office director Brett Barnett, he has a new job as Director of Ticket Sales at Texas Motorspeedway in Fort Worth. Call him up to get your NASCAR tickets.

Shoot CPC an email sometime, Bus, address is the same.
Some will tell you that a glass is half empty, and others that the same glass is half full. But all CPC really wants to know is...... does the drink taste good?
