I'm sure Evans and Tennell are great, but it starts with the play of the offensive line! Wardog and Chase make it easier for Irving's backs and receivers to roll up the big numbers. Hopefully, Evans and Tennell will realize this and follow Wardog and Chase to the land of the MUSTANG!

BTW its Jamal Evans-he had about 217 yards on a whopping 42 carries last nite. I think he's up to at least 1,600 yards which is outstanding for a sophmore in a strong 5A District. Irving clinched a championship over I think South Grand Prairie(which was previously unbeaten) with the win

well you know Bennett's brother is Irving's coach so I'm sure there is plenty of kissing of the [deleted] going on.

Isn't Evans tiny? Maybe they'll wait and see if he'll grow? Or is he that special as a player, a la Barry Sanders, that even at his size he'll be amazing?
Hard to tell this young, usually.
