Anyone know about this kid?

There'a senior offensive lineman at Horn HS in Mesquite named Hames Mangrum who goes 6-6, 315. Can he play, or is he just big? Are we after him?

My understanding is that he can play, but whether that translates to the next level remains to be seen. He's pretty impressive, as you might imagine for a kid that size. But every time he plays, he's six inches taller and 50-80 pounds heavier than the guy across from him, so he can dominate his battles by relying on nothing more than his size. He's so big he can lean on people and usually mow them over. However, when he gets to college and faces players who are stronger and used to facing guys who are 300-plus every week, it might be a different story.
