New candidates

A couple of new names have popped up, according to Insiders:

Ty Kuhn (6-2, 210, 4.4)
Burnet, Texas
Plays linebacker in HS, could be a linebacker or safety in college
Reports equal (medium) interest in SMU, Houston, TCU and Texas Tech. None have offered him yet, and he has not yet scheduled any official visits.

SMU also has drawn interest from one of Kuhn's Burnet teammates:

Cody Warner (5-9, 175, 4.5 - ran a 4.66 at the Nike camp)
Position: DB
Projected as: CB
Warner reports equal (medium) interest in SMU and Houston. Neither has offered.

And then of course, there's:
QB Dane King (6-2, 205, 4.7)
Gonzalez (Blinn JUCO), Texas
Insiders says: "A true gunslinger that has ability to make any throw. Has the ability to run and lead the nation in total offense...."

Reports high interest in Baylor and Kansas, and medium interest in SMU and Louisiana-Lafayette. Has scholarship offers from all four schools, with visits already scheduled at Kansas and Baylor.
