RB Thomas Pratt, Coppell

productive RB appears to be narrowing list to SMU, La Tech and Tulsa. No offers. 5.3 2 star rating. Pratt had a whopping 1980 yards on 287 carries and 19 TDs in a strong 5A league.

My observation of Pratt during the season is that he is a darn good high school running back. I'm not sure if he has all the ingredients to be a starting D1 running back (speed, illusiveness, power, quickness, or some combination thereof). What I don't really know if he has upside at any other positions. No doubt that he racked up a lot of yardage in a very tough 5A district. It wouldn't disappoint me to have a guy with this type of drive on our team; however, with our players currently at the tailback position, I'd be hesitant to bring this guy in if there's any chance to get big linemen instead.

Right you are! I'm sure this kid is a workhorse, but he sounds like he might not be a burner, and you're right in that we have RBs. We need linemen like it's going out of style.
