Don't know what the real story is on this kid and why they pulled his offer. I have been trying to find out some information this morning, but without success so far.

I'm also unsure of our numbers--sounds like we might be over the limit already???--but if not, I suggest JJ get on the phone with Pelini or Ted Gilmore and find out what the story is on this kid.

Sure couldn't hurt to have another linebacker that doesn't appear to have any academic issues. (I'm assuming the lack of offers are because he has been committed since last April. Looks like he also had previous offers to Syracuse and Army, but now only has Maine and W Carolina because his offer got pulled so late. Or perhaps his injury this year was fairly serious and that is what the story is?????)

He needs to get in touch with the Tyler AD. College coaches just don't do that sort of thing.

Seriously what makes this so bad is the length of time the kid was committed. Then pull it with less than a week to go before signing day. Got to be more to the story.

I agree completely. Especially since this guy was one of the first two players that committed to their class.

He was in for his official visit in November as well, so you would think they would have known if there was a problem back then--if it was injury, performance, or academically related.

So something is definitely up with this, but I would think it would be worth at least looking into......as far as our defense is concerned.

He would fit right in. Our entire defense got its feelings hurt last year.

Unfortunately, he might end up being a grayshirt since we are at or over the limit. Don't we get a bottom 10 special allocation of two bonus picks?
