So how many are we going to sign?
According to the SMU athletic website, we have the following seniors:
DB Kellis Cunningham
DB Rock Dennis
C Mitch Enright
DB Bryce Hudman
LB Chase Kennemer
DB Bryan McCann
WR Emmanuel Sanders
TE Mario Walker
WR Justin Willis
WR Zach Zimmerman
We already have 13 commitments:
LB John Bordano
QB/Ath Don Canyon
WR Ricky Collins WR
Ath Hayden Greenbauer
DE Forrest Hagar
Ath Jeremy Johnson
DB Connor Nichols
DE Uchenna Nwabuike
DT Michael O'Guin
DB Chris Parks
RB Kevin Pope
DB Louie Swope
LB Brandon Thornton
Sure, there will be attrition, but I can't believe we'll get that many more than this.

Why does this come up every year? There should be fairly large amount of natural attrition and a fair amount of "coach guided attrition" in every football program in the country. One of our problems in the past is that we were too true to these numbers - you run off the underperformers and put the best team on the field - I would guess we take 23-25.

lets not forget the fact that we will have several greyshirts next year. i think we will have 8 too many to take this year. since we took 8 players at x mas. and had 26 in this last class. But one of those 8 was Marquis Frazier who counted towards the 26. But i bet 4 do not qualify. Leaving 4 greyshirts ?
