They just landed a 4 star QB today as number 15 and now looks like commit number 16 is on the way.

Sumlin will be gone next year and Houston will hire JD Brookhart.

its gonna be tough this year. Rivals has them as the 30th best team in the country.
Being in Houston and spending some time at the school, I really dont know why ANYONE would want to go there...

Because they win football games.
Sumlin is going to leave for a bigger job after this year.

It seems like the C-USA West schools for the most part are having a good recruiting year. I think that's great. I'd love to see an upgrade in the quality of our conference.
I love the fact that 3 of our 5 3-stars so far are on the D side of the ball. Way to go coaching staff!

I hope UH, Rice, TCU and SMU all rise to the top and beat many of these Big 12 Teams. I am all for these schools, except for certain weekends in the fall! I am a big believer in the old saying "a rising tide raises all boats". I wonder if what we would have done? Would we have gone after Orsini, and then Jones if it hadn't been for the embarrassment TCU generated vis-a-vis SMU? I feel like TCU was our "USSR" in the space race, if it hadn't been for them we would have stayed only as an afterthought of college football. Isn't that embarassing?

Akron coach. UH just hired Akron's AD and Brookhart has taken the Zips to a couple of bowl games.

FYI...We're still an afterthought.

To be truthful, we would have been only an answer to a Trivia sports question, "Name the only school to receive......?"
