Hello All,

I'd like to invite each of you to join the newest Conference USA discussion forum.

The New Conference USA is for students, alumni, fans and supporters of current and future Conference USA schools. Any topics related to Conference USA and its member schools is welcome, including realignment, scheduling, recruiting, coaching changes, scores and smack talk.

If your favorite team is Central Florida, East Carolina, Houston, Marshall, Memphis, Rice, SMU, Southern Mississippi, Tulane, Tulsa or UAB, you are welcome to join.

I thought the move to Conference USA was SUPPOSED to make us more competitive in recruiting. So far it seems to have been the OPPOSITE! Coaches need to pick it up this weekend!

Do not fret ....coaches are setting the bar higher an higher each year for the Mustangs. Our pool of prospects is deep.

Are we getting the early commits this year....no.

Will we sign 20 - 25 players that will potentially improve our team ....yes.

It is still early ....senior seasons still have to be played and Bennett is a good evaluator of talent. Remember....SMU is a GREAT school that has many opportunities to offer and is desired by many, many student/athletes.
