Some big dollars ($219,000 for 3 years) are going for something that ain't much different than what anyone can find on the internet or get from Rivals or Scout for about $100 a year. All these schools in my opinion have violated the wording of NCAA rules already if they have used services not readily availiable to the public. NCAA should end this scheme right now. They are not buying information-they are buying connections with these athletes.

lol, every summer basketball team in America has their own newsletter that costs hundreds of dollars to purchase. Even sites like metroplexhoops or houstonpreps which are indie sell a 'coaches' version of their newletter for a ton of cash, many times thousands of dollars. That's how Bob Gibbons made a career. The reality is that basketball programs spends thousands of bucks yearly, for low grade info they don't need, just for connections.
Nobody cares about the 'wording of the NCAA rules' and no one ever will. You only get in trouble covering your butt
