Texas rescinded its offer because they refuse to deal with third party street agents

Especially third-party street agents who (don't) represent players who have their hearts set on the green of Oregon (that's green UNIFORMS ... what did you think I meant?)

Call me cynical, but if the next Earl Campbell/Ricky Williams/Vince Young rolls into Austin and says "hey, meet my third-party street agent" ... he wouldn't be told to take off.

(I know — I hate Young, and he's ridiculously overrated as a quarterback, but he was an unreal athlete who did win a game or 40 for the Horns when he was there...)

UT has an embarassment of riches when it comes to recruiting players that they actually can pass on top guys for reasons like not liking their parents or brother or the baggage they come with.

Just saw on the ESPN ticker that it is confirmed that Lache is transferring to Waco. Apparently they are investigating the trainer at Oregon (cannot remember his name) for attempting to "steer" Seastrunk to Eugene.

Correction, not a trainer. A third party "street-agent" out of Houston named Willie Lyles.

I was going to say the same, I thought several D-1 schools backed off of him, due to trouble and wan't Seastrunk tied into the Texas recruiter that Oregon paid $25,000 for recruiting, "services".. I can not remember the guys name.

Seastrunk is the centerpiece of the NCAA investigation into Houston area street agent Willie Lyles although to be fair to the kid the investigation has centered on what Lyles got- not on what Seastrunk got. So far.
