DB Leo Thomas - Former Arizona Committ

Article

No breaking news here, but we are one of his offers, doesn't mention interest level.

Days after Stoops’ firing on Oct. 10, defensive back Leo Thomas from Sam Houston High in San Antonio de-committed from the Wildcats. He told 247sports.com he is still in contact with Arizona but also has offers from Colorado, Colorado State, North Texas and SMU, as well as some initial interest from Texas.

Arizona has 16 players committed to sign in February, but many of those are exploring their options and waiting to see who athletic director Greg Byrne hires.

Also in the article, unfortunately looks like TCU is getting a good LB from Arizona.

You should also note that the LB you are referring to hasn't received an offer from TCU -- yet. It looks like he will go that way but you can't commit unless you're offered.

I believe TCU is about to lose Daje Johnson to Texas, so TCU may look at Leo as a replacement. Some of the froggie posters here should be able to let us know.

Hilliard is coming in at a later home game and believes he will get an offer then. There has been some talk that TCU may take not only 1 but 2 LBs.

As for Leo Thomas, I am not sure where they stand with him, He is not as widely discussed now as some other recruits. DB is not as big of a need position as some other positions right now. I do not know where he stands on their list of possible replacements or if they will still get another DB if Daje decommits.
