What are you basing your "Good class" statement on? Good CUSA class? Good BCS class? Good Big East class? Or are you basing it on your emotions now?

Absolutely!- some of the mid-tier Sunbelt and MAC teams would be pleased with this class. ![]() GO PONIES!!!
Re: We've made it. Kind of.
We're going to need great classes (read classes where we're not competing with Tumbleweed Tech and Jerkwater U) if we want to compete in the Big East. They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

Re: We've made it. Kind of.I have been an SMU fan for over 50 years and have seen the good and bad. It seems that some of the posters on here display nothing but negative thoughts. Why not try supporting our players and coaches for a change. I think the ones with the negative posts have directly caused us to loose some of our recruits. The very thing you are complaining about. Try being positive for a change. Go Ponies.
Re: We've made it. Kind of.Zero recruits backed out because of fans, sorry.
Re: We've made it. Kind of.
Our coach having "I Don't Want to be at SMU" tattooed on his forehead caused us to lose recruits. Opposing coaches will continue to use this against us in recruiting because there hasn't been anything tangible done to combat it. Hard to be positive about that. They who would give up an essential liberty for temporary security, deserve neither liberty or security

We've made it. Kind of.We do not want any recruits that would tuck tail and run because of something said on here. If we ran someone off, we did ourselves a favor.
Re: We've made it. Kind of.I question the if scaring off recruits for any reason is good thinking. I assume most schools do everything they can to get committed recruits to remain committed.
