Either JuCo QB could redshirt, if the coaches wanted. I'd be surprised if either did, though.

I think there is a chance Romo might redshirt, maybe a medical from back when he was in JC. I wouldn't put too much confidence in what I just said, it just seems to me I heard something along those lines.

If you know something, PK, blurt it out.
Personally, I don't see Romo red-shirting for 2 reasons:
[1] If he can't beat Eckert today and redshirts, CHris gets #2 snaps & subs in during the season. That makes Romo #2-3 on depth chart next Spring. How will he beat out Chris, then?
[2] Romo is arguably one of the fastest on the team. If not the #1 QB, his speed would still benefit us THIS season with gadget plays and/or moving in/out at a WR position.
