I don't understand the comment about Barnes from HP. If he is on the "official list" why can't he appear on the list in the Roundup article wirh some sort of foot note?

We profile players when they sign. Barns was included in last year's Roundup (http://ponyfans.com/features/recruit13/ … or his individual profile: http://ponyfans.com/features/recruit13/ ... php?id=185), just like J.R. Reed is in this year's Roundup (http://ponyfans.com/features/recruit14/ … or his individual profile: http://ponyfans.com/features/recruit14/ ... php?id=226) but not mentioned in school release — he signed Wednesday, but since he won't enroll in the fall, SMU couldn't comment on him.

I believe greyshirts for the next year can't be named because they didn't sign a Letter of Intent but only a grant in aid. Its not binding on the athlete until he signs a Letter of Intent-they can actually sign with another school if someone offers them a scholarship for August 2014. Still a recruitable athlete

I grew up in Brenham, and I'm excited about the Sutton kid
