on Rivals Commitment List-expect stories to follow. I'm pretty excited about Mapps with 2500 yards rushing from his QB position. See previous thread from a week ago.

as a junior he ran a 22.25 200 at the 3A Region State Track Meet finishing about 4th in the qualifier. Beat Jemario Thomas in fact in the qualifier but lost to him in the finals. He finished 6th at the 2004 3A State Track Meet in the 400 meters with a time of 51.12

I found a time of 21.91 for Tim Monroe at a 3a Regional Meet and have been informed that he has run a 21.71 as his personal best.

It will be interesting to see if these guys can make a solid transition from 3A football to D1 college football.

BTW I saw a post on a high school website by a Royce City poster who appears to know James Mapps who posted that he has heard that Mapps will be tried at RB at SMU.
